Dean's game today. (FINALLY! :smt023 )

Noel says it's been an extraordinary and magnificent week. He says Laura was delighted with her winnings, even though her deal didn't work. He mentions that big money has been coming to the table all week!

Dean has Box 13.

Dean Cook, from Coventry, a customer service advisor for an electrical company. His partner Alison is in the audience. He has a photo of his pet bird, and of a complex electrical system he has built.

The Banker has noticed Dean is out of rhythm with the rest of the world. We get some footage of Dean dancing before the show begins! He’s going to be nerdy for Dean.

BANKER'S OFFER

£6,282

Dean says that is exceptionally good considering he hit the £100,000.

Dean says:

NO DEAL

The Banker says the boxes in that round were the highest possible break in snooker. He sends out a diagram for an invention he has been working on that bottles players’ tears!

BANKER'S OFFER

£11,500

Dean says that’s good. Dora says there’s a lot of money left.

Dean says:

NO DEAL

It’s been good apart from the £100,000, says Noel. He says this is the ‘Mick offer’.

BANKER'S OFFER

£17,000

Dean’s partner says it’s a good offer, but it’s worth another round. Noel reminds us of the relevance of the ‘Mick offer’. Dean says this is his game, not Mick’s.

Dean says:

NO DEAL

Looks like I wasn't the only one who couldn't get on.

About time he played... also had the 1p yesterday, so perfect timing to play :smt023

I would have expected a deal at two box also.

Round 4

Box 12 with Sharon - £75,000 :?

That’s an uncomfortable start, says Noel.

Box 6 with Stephen - £250,000  :(

That is a real shocker, says Noel. He suspects the Banker will start drawing comparisons with Mick’s game.

Box 21 with Vicky - £250

Banker time…

I think we all felt the relief there, says Noel. The Banker says he’s not taking Dean lightly.

BANKER'S OFFER

£7,000

Silence greats the offer. Tash’s light is on. Erin says there is still £50,000 left. Roger’s light is on, and he says Dean will be chasing the money if he loses the big sums. Erica says Dean should think about what he’d advise on the wings. Dean says he came with no target, as he wants to play the game as he says. The Banker says an all-blue round would send the offer back to £17,000.

Dean says:

NO DEAL

Round 5

Box 16 with Roop - £5,000

Box 18 with Doreen - £35,000 :?

Now you have two isolated sums, says Noel.

Box 5 with James - £1

Banker time…

Now we must believe big money has come to the table again, says Noel.

BANKER'S OFFER

£6,282

Jason, Joe and Dora put their lights on. Dean’s partner says she’d think about it. Dean says the general consensus is to go on, but he doesn’t usually follow crowds.

Dean says:

DEAL

I hope you avoided the barge, says Noel. The Banker says he wouldn’t have listened to the other wingers either.

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£4,800

Noel reveals £20,000 in Dean’s Box 13. :(

Box 22 with Anita contains the 1p.

Box 23 time…

Pilgrim of the day Valentine brings Box 23 to the table. Noel runs through its options once again.

Dean says:

NO DEAL to Box 23.

He keeps the £6,282.

Good call, says Noel. He has enjoyed Dean’s time on the show. Dean says the money will make things comfortable for him. :D :smt023
