Episode 57, January 6 2006 @ 4:15pm
Player: Pat- has box 21

Obligatory hyping-up introduction - but Noel mentions how much Dave won (£102,000) rather than what might have been (£250,000 on the table). 'Somehow we have to follow that!'

It's Pat who has to try - she's a professional bingo caller and into numerology. Apparently she's numerologically compatible with Noel, but astrology says otherwise... as Noel recovers from laughing he moves on to the formalities... 'Pat, make it another great game after yesterday's!'

Box 7 (Lyndsey) - £1,000.
Box 3 (newbie Geordie) - £20,000. 'Not what we really wanted...' 'No, but it could be worse,' Geordie points out.
Box 15 (Andrew) - 1p! 'Now THAT'S what we wanted! Still nobody has ever won that... and long may that continue...'
Box 1 (Gill) - £3,000. 'If we can take out a blue here, this'll look rather good!'
Box 16 (Alan) - as she grew up in house number 16 - £10! 'There we go!'

The Banker admits to being more than a little worried about her, as he said Dave was a crazy guy and cost him a lot of money, and Pat is just as insane!!

Banker's offer:

£7,000

She just wants to get on with it - NO DEAL.

As Pat blithers on about numerology and so on, Noel tells her to concentrate on the game...

Box 4 (Michael) - £15,000. 'It's OK, but we could do with two blues now...'
Box 20 (Mumtaz) - £10,000. The crowd groan a little more than it's worth because of Noel's previous quote. Noel doesn't know how to react, but says the next one has to be blue... he gets Arlette to breathe in, out, in, out, and she does so in a horrendously exaggerated vertical breathing manner... the break is called...

As we come back Noel points to the 'massive contrast' on the board, and exhorts Arlette to breathe deeply in, out, and reveal a blue...

Box 18 (Arlette) - 50p! Big cheers!

She took out 50p with 1p and 10p gone in the real game too!

Noel says that the Banker has to be scared because there are three life-changing sums of money still in the game... the Banker says the board is too risky to warrant a big offer... Geordie says he might regret saying that...

Banker's offer:

£10,000

Geordie says that there is only a 1 in 56 chance of taking out all three reds... Julie says it's a lot of money... Pat says she is thinking about previous games, and Noel says that anything can still happen in this one...

Pat says NO DEAL!

Noel says the dream is the all-blue round which will really scare the Banker...

Box 17 (Gavin) - £100! Big cheers. 'That's the first!' Pat says she can't take them all out now, and Noel says yes, that helps...
Box 2 (Gerry) - £100,000! Noel points out she still has two big numbers and can't hit both...

Box 14 (Vanessa) - £1! 'Now that's how to respond!'

The Banker says he has found his opportunity to end this game...

Banker's offer:

£10,000

Noel says it's surprising that the offer has not gone down, and thinks that the Banker is nervous... Terry says there is a significant risk of leaving two blues, and Geordie says it's 30%...

Pat says DEAL!

Noel says he's glad Pat isn't going away with a blue but wonders what might have been if she'd taken a chance...

Box 8 (Liz) - £35,000! 'Now we just need the fifty...'
Box 9 (Miguel) - £50,000! 'The perfect game!' Pat looks delighted and relieved.
Box 22 (Ann) - 'as if it matters! Go on, just open it!' - £250.

'Well... that was good wasn't it?'

Banker's offer would've been:

£300

Box 21 had £750 and Box 5 had £50.

Noel says that was a good result and that Pat was great fun...
