Show of the Month - July 2007 - The Final

Final time! Three males and one female, and both the biggest and smallest winners of the month are there. Three days to vote for who will be crowned King (or Queen!) of July!

It will definitely be either Maria or Igor.

But completely for originality, it has GOT to be Igor. No offense meant at all towards Maria, quite a few people have won £75,000 now, and I highly doubt anyone will ever win 2p again, even with a 1p/10p finish!

With a 2p win it has to be Igor.

Igor. His game was unfortunate with poor offers but he had a nice attitude and took a good HoF comedy deal :lol:

Maria's was great because she dealt at 75K and beat the banker but for hall of fame reasons it has to be Igor.

Has to be Maria, purely for the edge-of-the-seat factor, and it was also helped by the fact that I still thought, even after the £75k offer, there was just a small chnce she'd have no-dealed!

Personally, I couldn't really see the fascination with Igor's game so it's Maria for me.

Not Mike, at all. Boring game to be quite honest, and a LOT of acting going on in the studio

Now if i was going by usual Daniel123 standards i would vote for Maria......amazing maria...........AHEM. But as it is, i voted for Igor

She does deserve it - just not as much as Igor does!

Why?? Igor's game was crap until the very very end...yes, he dealt for 2p and that was good, but other than that it was just an ordinarily rubbish game. If he'd hit the 1p in the last box, had a 10p/£50 final two and then won 10p, nobody would even consider voting for him.

So it has to be Maria. (Really it has to be Carol but she's not an option so I'll settle for her...)

CAROL??? that was basically a replica of Gabrielle from january's game...which was boring in itself the first time round.

also i hate to say dan very good point about igor, and i'll admit that is the case with me

I couldn't be bothered to explain why I voted for Maria the other day. Normally, I'd have gone for Igor, but I'd heard a spoiler about his game which kind of ruined it, Maria's game was the only other option as the other two weren't that special. My favourite July game was Lynn's, as I never expected her to go to the end. I was fully expecting a cautious 3rd or 4th offer deal.

Igor just edges it for me here, and gets my vote. Maria looks likely to win, and she would have been my second choice so I'm glad to see her take the crown!

Igor sounded like an entertaining player, and he gave us two of the best comedy moments of the series (the 2p deal and the sideflip), so he gets my vote.

Though Maria is a perfectly understandable choice. Certainly those two games summed up the show's agony and ecstasy, comedy and drama, the dreamy and disastrous consequences of risk (not that Igor ever got the opportunity to take a big risk)... they will both be remembered for some time and rightly so.

I would, as I thought he came across as a very nice character.
