Show of the Month - July 2007 - Heat 2

Heat 2, and...erm, wow!! I couldn't predict this one at all, an amazing era for the show and a great end to Season 2!

VERY hard decision here (I'd say they're all possible contenders except Gavin!) - but I've gone for Maria, as one different box choice could have resulted in disaster rather than a massive win, whereas disaster was never a possibility for Lynn!

I'm going for Lynn actually. The other games especially Maria's were great but Lynn gave us our 4th power 5 final 2 after we've been denied similar finishes so many times.
It was funny to see her no deal 62K and see how everyone reacted when the lower amount was revealed even though it was still a great sum of money!

I'm going to vote for Igor, the way he took the 2p was great. (Although selling it on eBay wasnt so.... but as its only on the show it doesnt really matter)

Igor because his 2p offer will never be bettered.

The only true entry in the Hall of Fame because it will never be repeated. Even if someone else has a 1p/10p finish, I doubt the Banker will offer 2p again!

I loved all of these games except Gavin's!

I think I'll vote for Carol's game, because it had some great quotes and it was an OPW from nowhere.

Igor for me here - I've had enough of poor games and bad trainwrecks and then we get this - a comedy trainwreck provided by a lovely bloke who was a great player - and a show where a hall of fame place is taken over! :lol:

Lynn for me. It was the most unpredictable of all the games. I was fully expecting an early deal for a nice sum, rather than her to go all the way and win one of the power 5. Carole is my second choice.

Possibly the hardest heat I've ever had to choose between, all possible contenders, but after a lot of thought I've gone for Igor.

I've just realised Carol is up there too... it'd be a tough choice between Carol and Igor actually, but I think Igor still wins it... just.

Actually, I forgot to vote in the poll anyway... so I think I'll think about this one for a bit!

The first 3 games were amazing, it has to be between them for me. Maria's I thought was one of the best of all time, I vote Maria.

In any other month, I reckon any of Maria, Lynn or Carol would be worthy winners so to choose between them now is pretty tough. I was on holiday when all these games were shown and watched them back-to-back when I got home - needless to say I couldn't quite believe what I was watching! I'll go for the game that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up the most - Maria.
