The first show of heat 2 saw a DOND first, a non-cash deal as Brenda dealt for a trip to New York. Theresa gave us a great game as she kept the big one in play to win £52,000 - but then the bad luck returned with three successive blue wins for Kulwant, Irene and Caroline. The Banker took some criticism for his constant joke offers on poor boards, giving some of the players no chance.

Zahida turned it round with a £34,000 win, and Alexandra scored a great victory but the brave Carol and Viv found their luck was out.

Hmm, this was during the battle of the sexes - not the greatest of eras for DOND due to lack of variety in people playing and the bad luck the players were facing.

I think out of this group, Brenda's, Zahida's and Irene's are the only ones which really stand out for me - Brenda's was funny and unique as she dealt the first fully non-monetary offer, Irene's was good because I liked her but she had a poor game, although it did contain the second lowest deal ever. Zahida's was also good as she won a relatively huge amount in all the bad luck that was around at the time... but Brenda gets my vote in this heat, Irene second and Zahida third.

Theresa gets my vote here, she showed great courage to achieve a big win in the middle of all those disastrous games. Only slight disappointment is that she didn't get the reward of at least £70-80k as most people who keep the big one in play to the final pair have done.

So many unlucky games here, although things improved near the end.

Theresa for me, I think, she did deserve a bit more for the bravery and final two that she had but you can't go wrong with £52k, plus the Jean stuff was hilarious!

it's a bit of a toss up between Alexandra and Theresa here as they were the only excellent ones that stood out to me. (Zahida's was prettygood but it wasn't an OPW).
Overall i think I'll go for Theresa as she won the most and she was a character too. I'm in agreement with others that her offers were on the low side.

I voted for Caroline. She was my favourite contestant out of the choices.

Zahida for me, it was possibly the only game there was with more than one difficult decision....

Alexandra wins my vote, probably one of the only games I actually enjoyed at this time. I did enjoy Theresa's and Zahida's but this one did it for me with the risks!

I'd actually forgotten Theresa and her £52,000 win. Probably sums up what I felt about DOND during the battle of the sexes! Anyway, Brenda still gets my vote and I think Theresa would come fourth in my choices as I don't appear to remember her very well.

I went for Theresa. That's when I actualy started getting excited...

Well. Brenda's game was spoiled by tbhat stupid deal so that puts her out of the equation.

Cutting to the chase though, i voted for Viv and the 3rd 50p win.
