January Show of The Month - Heat 3

Nikki starts this heat with a fairly good win although she could've got more by playing to 2-box, and then Sue did a fairly cautious deal but it wasn't a bad move. Shaun had the Fadil final two, gambled, and won 1p... and then Mel dealt at the third offer of £20,000 but could've won £45,000 later on in her game, then Geoff provided an amusing game and dealt at £20,000 but could've got £44,000.

Laura scored an OPW with her £15,000 deal, Terry cautiously dealt at and could've had a few thousand more, and to finish this heat, Simon swapped £1 away after a trainwreck of a game, to win 1p, in a month which contained no Power 5 boxes on the table.

Anyway, it was between Nikki and Shaun for me, with their very entertaining games - and in the end I decided on the latter, because it involved the others a lot too (e.g. announcing the 'rounds')

To be honest, there aren't many stand out games with this heat. Plus, this guy was awesome.

Mel or Simon? Arrrggggghhhh. I suppose Simon!

Laura, DoND's resident Kate Nash lookalike gets my vote because she did indeed have the Foundations to beat the Banker! :lol:

I voted Shaun, it was the most exciting and he was a great character too. Shame about the result, though.

I went fo Laura similar to other games but it was an OPW, would have been better if it had been nestled in amongst some gambles.

I wasn't sure who to vote for here but in the end I went for Shaun as it was an entertaining game and I wasn't really expecting the 1p win. There was some fairly amusing moments through-out a lot of these games though, but not many great results.
