March Show of the Month - Heat 3

In the third and final heat for Show of the Month in March 2008, we start with Mark... who made use of his eggs and dealt at £7,500 although could've had a little more. Gemma then provided the first Power 5 box win since Chris B when she bagged £35k, but then Matty provided a heartbreaker of a game as he won just 1p.

Lexis did a good deal at £11,500, David dealt early for £12,500 and had some unusual happenings with the missing value from the box, and Olga had another heartbreaker of a game with a £5 win... To finish the whole heat and the month of March, Phyl had a disastrous game but still managed to get a small OPW of £2,050.01, and then Greg did a wise deal at £7,500.

I only saw three of the month's games but I have to say, from H's descriptions in these threads, March sounds *beep* rubbish...

A better heat here. Still no "wow" games or shows though... but the one I enjoyed the most was probably Brian's as it was a good game, he was good and there was some good banter throughout the show. Phyl's, Matty's, David's and Olga's were all memorable.

It has to be Gemma, I've never been that far from my seat!

It's obvious Gemma's going to win, so i went for Matty becuase it was hilariously bad!

Gemma. A well deserved £ 35k win and showing courage on the way to getting it.

I'm very much torn between Matty's game for how much it had me laughing and wishing the big numbers away or Phyl's game for the way she dealt with such unrelenting bad luck.

Based on personality, a victory (a very surprising one at that) and how memorable the game was, topped with her resolve in the face of an absolute car crash game- it simply has to be Phyl.

I only decided who to vote for whilst I was writing this message and i've gone for Gemma and her power 5 win. In a close second was Brian.

710 - Phyl 29/03 - £2,050.01 with 11% of the vote
