To start this heat, we have Tom who played at the beginning of the banker's birthday week, and through the help of much energy and the banker's birthday cards providing extra offers, he scooped up £20,000 and only missed out on £9k more. Linda then dealt at £14,000 and was given the chance to undeal it but she didn't, which turned out to be a good move, and then we had Jo who ended up with just £500 after having a good shot at the game.

Mark then had the help of the banker's birthday cards providing extra offers, and dealt at £1,100 to prevent a blue win, and Zoe and Zara had a bad game but ended up with £3,000 each. Jimbo then did a cautious deal at £10,000, and had £100k in his box.

To finish this heat, we have Heldy who played to the end after a bad game, swapped and won £1,000; Emjay who dealt £14,000 with £75k and £250k still in play but scored an OPW, and Joanne, who dealt £10,000 and declined the chance to take on the banker's gamble.

Hmm... I went for Tom.

Tough one, but I went with Jimbo's game.

Tom...only he and Mark got the use of the added twist in the birthday cards. Mark had no big money to play for, Tom did!

Good game too, haven't seen such a lively person for a while!

I have to go for Tom's game here for numerous reasons:

1) He surprised me by declining £9,000 and then even more so by declining £14,000 on a board where 1 box would've destroyed the game... he worked for his £20,000 and I fully understood his deal.

2) He was entertaining on the wings and in his game.

3) He was from Liverpool.

4) I'm incredibly, incredibly shallow

But, mainly for reasons 1 and 2, it has to be Tom- the rest of the games in this heat were pretty medicore (2nd place would've been Heldy and I don't know who I would've voted for out of the others, most were dire)

The twins for pure entertainment value!!! And decent result!

Between Tom and Emjay here; as both were entertaining shows. However, I liked Tom more and his game was more entertaining, plus he had a good, energetic game and read the board very well. So my vote goes to Tom.

Some great games here. Loved Tom's game for the general gameplay, as Tom as a person. Mark's game was really good because he was hilarious...Jo's game was tragically hilarious, and I also enjoyed Joanne's game.

But I went for the twins. Just so much fun, everyone dressed up, 1p members coming back...the fact that the twins were lovely...

Has to be the twins for me, though Emjay's all-blue last 5 after the deal was also great. Missed Tom's game sadly, it sounds really good, a rarity.

I think it's safe to say Betty will win the whole thing, with Tom 2nd and Graham or Zoe & Zara 3rd...

Has to be the twins, one of very few shows I've really enjoyed this year. They were lovely girls, really entertaining and the party thing with the 1p club was great as well. And although it was an unlucky game it had a positive ending.

I voted for Zoe and Zara, as I'm struggling to remember the rest of them.

Zoe and Zara - a game that I was dreading but with 2 contestants who didn't have much luck but had a great attitude and got a nice bonus in the end.

I do kind of want to vote for Jimbo, just because he's from my home town (not that I actually know him). But in gameplay terms it wasn't the best.

For me though Tom provided an exciting game and his happy go lucky attitude made for an entertaining game. Zoe & Zara also made for an interesting game, not just because of the twin aspect, but with the majority of the 1p players returning and the Banker's fancy dress party, it provided for a surreal game.

I used to think it was bad when people kept dealing at £26,000! Now players don't get offers that are around that.

I just hope he wins the monthly award. One of my favourites of all time. Even better than Betty's.

Tom the only game with true tension and interesting decisions but Emjay's had a bit of that too.
